Specialising in contract law, procedural law and mediation, Loes has been practising law since 2001. In 2010 she and André Jansen founded HJ Advocaten. Loes counsels her clients both as a lawyer and as a strategic advisor, for instance in proceedings about compliance with contracts or in negotiations. She has a practical approach, and likes an intellectual challenge.
To Loes it is all about making a difference. With her broad experience as a lawyer as well as an entrepreneur, Loes is a welcome sparring partner. Her direct manner of communication facilitates her clients’ progress: Not long-winding advice but specific pointers.
For Loes, a productive working day is a successful working day. Consultations with clients, co-workers and a sense of humour play an important part.
Loes is a member of the Dutch Procedural Law Association, INSOLAD, the Mediators federation of the Netherlands (MfN), the Dutch Association of Mediation Lawyers (NVVMA) and the ADR knowledge network for mediators. Loes teaches at the ADR Institute (the professional training institute for mediators) and at government agencies.
